03 · Simulation · Special project
With the operation modeled, you can simulate what comes next.
Simulation runs on the same system as the dashboard: the same sources, the same model and the same web app. What gets added is work with your team to decide which variables to move, with which rules and in which scenarios. That takes advisory and consulting hours, which is why it is quoted as a special project.
Three ways of looking ahead
All of them start from what is already published on the dashboard, not from a separate spreadsheet.
Projections and scenarios
Year-end close, cash flow or demand, with a base, a stress and an upside scenario, compared against what has been published.
Simulators
Move a variable, such as price, volume, headcount or rate, and see the effect on margin, on cash and on covenants.
Custom engines
When the formula that decides belongs to your operation: irrigation by depth and water potential, yield potential with NDVI, nutrition programs from lab analysis, or the business model of a whole company.

How it works
The quote is in writing before starting, with the estimated hours.
- Step 1Initial reviewWe look at whether the operation is already modeled and which decision you want to simulate. It is free.
- Step 2The quoteVariables, scenarios, deliverables, timeline and estimated hours, in writing.
- Step 3The assumptions, with your teamAdvisory to define the rules and the ranges of each variable. The assumptions belong to your team.
- Step 4Delivery in your web appThe simulator sits next to the dashboard and the monthly plan maintains it when the sources change.
What it includes and what it does not.
If it is not in the quote, it is not in the project. That simple.
Includes
- What the quote says: variables, scenarios, deliverables, timeline and estimated hours.
- Advisory to define the assumptions with your team.
- Once delivered, the simulator stays in your web app and the monthly plan maintains it when the sources change.
Does not include
- Anything that is not in the quote: a change of scope is quoted before it is done.
- Changing the rules or adding variables after delivery: that is new work.
- A prediction: the simulator shows the effect of the assumptions your team defines.
It runs on an operation already modeled in a dashboard: if it is not yet, that is where it starts.
Why it is quoted and has no list price.
The system is the same as the dashboard’s; what changes from one project to another are the advisory and consulting hours. It depends on how many variables move, how many scenarios are compared and how specific to your operation the deciding rule is. That is why it is quoted by looking at your data, with the estimated hours, the deliverables and the timeline in writing.
Mapping and the dashboard do have published prices. See plans and pricing.
Tell us which decision you want to simulate and we will tell you what it takes.
Thirty minutes is enough to see whether your operation is already modeled or whether it is better to start with the dashboard. The initial review is free, and the project is quoted by looking at your data.
