Where the data comes from
What is already recorded comes in: accounting by fund, valuations and appraisals, capital calls and distributions, construction progress on the assets and the quarterly reports from the portfolio companies. Nothing is migrated and no one's system is changed.
Every fund and asset is read on the same axis and at the same cut-off date. TVPI, DPI and IRR reconcile with paid-in capital and NAV, with the currency translation effect isolated instead of hidden inside the return.
Alerts that fire on their own
Thresholds configurable by fund, asset, vintage and vehicle. Construction progress deviating from budget, a late report from a portfolio company and committed capital not yet called are flagged on their own, before the board meeting.
