Benchmark · Public data · Aquaculture
Benchmark of Chilean salmon farming.
What each producer publishes, site by site. Public information only.
Public information only
Built exclusively with public information. Not affiliated with or endorsed by the companies analyzed. It is not investment advice. In the open version, every company appears without its name. The web app is in Spanish.
Each producer publishes in its own way. Here everything sits on the same axis.
Different documents and formats, set side by side with the same indicators for everyone. What is missing shows too.
Each figure, with its source
Annual reports, sustainability reports, earnings presentations and financial statements, together with the public records of each farming site. Each figure stays linked to the document it comes from.
24 indicators, 5 dimensions
Scale and results, health, feed, environment and people. The same indicator for every producer, with its unit and, where it applies, the direction in which it is better.
The gap is shown
If a producer does not publish a figure, the cell stays empty and in view. What is not published is information too.
How it is built, in Quproc’s three stages.
The app is organized in the same three stages Quproc uses inside a company: each one groups its tabs, with the source of its figures in view.

01 · MappingWhat there is for each producer
A matrix shows, topic by topic, which sources carry figures for each producer: harvest and volume, revenue and EBITDA, price and cost per kilo, balance sheet and cash, health, feed, environment, people and enforcement. A bordered cell is a topic where two or more sources cross; a hatched one, a topic with nothing published.
02 · ModelingThe benchmark, site by site
The benchmark puts producers side by side on the 24 indicators. The views by area, site and producer drill down to each farming site: harvest, mortality, treatments, escapes and inspections. It adds health, compliance and industry views.
03 · SimulationCompare and simulate
The Simulator and Compare tabs work on the financial figures of the listed companies: scenarios on their own figures and companies side by side, with the same indicators.
Here it is salmon farming. In your company, the path is the same.
The sources become your own records of sites, plant, feed and costs, and the model crosses biology with finance on the same axis.
